“Without the Whole Gang” (Spring 2022)
“Without the Whole Gang” is an exploration of the feelings of abandonment as well as sexual frustration through the vehicle of song and dance. When it comes to Phillip Babooner, the film's central protagonist, there’s nothing in this life worth cherishing more than going out and having weekly gangbangs with the bros. That’s why one night, when Phillip is uninvited from the upcoming gangbang without explanation, his whole world begins to collapse. He vents his heartbreak the only way he knows how. Belting out an emotional ballad, Phillip asks just one question: what’s a gangbang without the whole gang?
“Finding John Bacchus” (Fall 2021)
Is it possible to fully know a man from his filmography alone? In the case of John Bacchus, “films” such as Bravengers: Age of Buldgetron (2017), Who Wants to Be an Erotic Billionare? (2002), and The Heaping Bouncy Breasts That Smothered a Midget (1988) have puzzled amateur film historians for decades. Is this art? Or is this smut? Are these feature length pieces of narrative cinema? Or are these cheaply made works of softcore pornography? To find the answers, I document the locating and viewing of all 40 of Bacchus films and, in doing so, discover a previously unrealized complication with my own sense of innocence.

Not ready to see all existence end, the man decides to find a handful of people with whom he lost touch with throughout his life. When he does find them, however, all that’s waiting for him to discover is the image of how they elected to spend their final moments of life before certain, unavoidable death.
